Clinical Psychologist – Child & Adolescent Program

Job Description:

 Archways Centre for CBT is currently seeking a psychologist or psychological associate (autonomous or in supervised practice) to work with children and adolescents. Based in London (Ontario), we provide evidence-based cognitive and behavioural therapies across the lifespan. Typical presenting issues: anxiety, depression, emotion regulation difficulties, OCD (and related disorders), trauma, child/parent relational issues, body image concerns and identity development.  We also provide psychoeducational assessments and services to assist individuals with ADHD and learning disabilities, as needed.

Archways provides psychological services in-person and via virtual therapy using a secure and confidential video-based platform (Owl Practice). Successful applicants have the option of working remotely from home, but also the ability to provide in-person sessions at the office, as clinically indicated.

 

Applicants must be registered or eligible to register with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Sufficient training in evidence-based practices (e.g. CBT, MBCT, ACT, DBT) is necessary. Although we offer services through the lifespan, we are interested in talking to therapist registered or planning to register with children/adolescents. Full-time and Part-time subcontract positions are currently available. If needed, supervision can be provided by Dr. Kerry Collilns, C.Psych.
