Archways Centre for CBT is currently seeking a psychologist and/or psychological associate to join our team to work in our First Responder Program. Based in London (Ontario), we provide evidence-based cognitive and behavioural therapies for posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other conditions related to trauma. We work with both uniformed and non-uniformed responders using a trauma-informed model to help them build resilience, cope with stressors, and foster post-traumatic growth. While a posttraumatic stress injury may be inevitable for some first responders, PTSD may be preventable. Our program is geared towards prevention and treatment of traumatic stress reactions, and includes the following services:
Successful applicants have full administrative support for billing, and communication with third party payors (e.g. WSIB, VAC).
Archways provides psychological services in-person and via virtual therapy using a secure and confidential video-based platform (Owl Practice). Successful applicants have the option of working remotely from home, but also the ability to provide in-person sessions at the office, as clinically indicated.

Applicants must be registered or eligible to register with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Sufficient training in evidence-based practices (e.g. CBT, MBCT, ACT, DBT) is necessary. Supervision provided by Gita Canaran, M.A., C.Psych.
